I have a controller 750-8208 with programming software codesys v2.3.9.66. I want to read modbus tcp data through FB. When I load the library i.e. ModbusEthernet\_04.lib, the program shows error. Is there a way to upgrade this library in codesys 2.3 or is there any other library through which i can read data.

I believe you need to add the Ethernet.lib library to your project. On my system, that library is found in the “32-Bit” folder inside my 2.3 library repository.

@AdamReeve @pp0098 please be aware that libraries in the 32-bit folder may not work for the PFC200.
Instead of the ModbusEthernet\_04.lib i would recommend the WagoLibModbus\_IP\_01.lib

Thanks for the clarification.
Does anyone know up to which version of the PFC200 firmware the 32-bit Ethernet.lib is supported and therefore functional?
The WagoLibModbus\_IP\_01.lib does not seem to allow the implementation of a Modbus server/slave, but only a client/master.

The Ethernet lib is not compatible with the PFC200 at all.
The naming of Master/Slave is only for Modbus serial where only one Master is possible.
On the Ethernet side you should use Client/Server. because more than one Client can communicate with the same Server (last command win).

On this side, WAGO don’t have any Server(slave) function block for codesys 2.3 using Modbus Ethernet because it is already defined in the Firmware.

For the Client(Master) on a PFC200 only the WagoLibModbus\_IP\_01.lib will work without problem.

The point is internal modbus server process all requests on 502 port, while I need to discriminate requests from different ports and redirect them to different IEC104 devices. Thanks for help in advance!
