The attached document outlines how to use the CODESYS SoftMotion Light library with a WAGO PFC to control a CiA 402-compliant drive over EtherCAT. SoftMotion Light supports single-axis, non-synchronized motion. The PFC handles command and status monitoring, while the drive manages its own trajectory planning and execution, minimizing PFC load.
