# Missing files when opening a project in codesys

i use Codesys version 3.5 SP19 patch 17. when i try to open a project applicaiton which was sent to me from a colleague, some files in projects are missing inside codesys.  
How to open a project application without losing any file. example below when i opened it I am missing Wago\_Telecontrol\_configurator variable , GVWagoRTU variable is also missing.  
my colleague sent me files via email (zip file) , sometime many files from single project via Microsoft teams but same issue is there.

I am not an expert on Codesys myself, so I am not entirely sure, but I would like to ask if you have tried the “Save Archive” function.

I also had a difficult time in the past due to a library version called OSCAT. Our team used this method because we understood it to be a way to save and transfer the entire library and configuration environment that the user is using.

This method takes longer than a standard save.
