Hello,

I am curious if anyone has found an easier way to run a web application through HTML rather than webvisu? from what I can see, I would most likely need to create a custom HTML where I would need to remake my objects or potentially pull from the symbol configuration file. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I found it =\> [Convert Wago Web-Visu to HTML5! – iniNet Solutions GmbH](https://spidercontrol.net/wago-web-visu-auf-html5-konvertieren/?lang=en)

Try to download the Webvisu html like code and input it to claude asking him to create a HTML file as a model. Then work on this model.

First what are you trying to do ?
In the TAG you have PFC300 but the webvisu is already HTML.
If you talk about Codesys 2.3 based controller (750-8xx) you can still use the Java based visu:

> **[GitHub - Ekristoffe/WebVisu-Starter: Java app for displaying the webvisualisation of...](https://github.com/Ekristoffe/WebVisu-Starter)**
>
> Java app for displaying the webvisualisation of CoDeSys 2 applications

or use another tool:

> **[GitHub - tnentwig/WebVisu: Single page application for displaying the...](https://github.com/tnentwig/WebVisu)**
>
> Single page application for displaying the webvisualisation of CoDeSys 2 applications in modern browsers without java

The second item was kinda discontinued because of the way it worked, it needed a lot of space and had some compatibility problem.

Hello, I am running codesys 3.5. We were looking at alternative ways to pull the PLC tag values to a custom HTML, which we currently did using NodeRED. The issue we were running into was NodeRED or running a docker is too resource heavy. We were also looking into alternate ways of doing this such as using a MQTT client/broker setup or OPC UA but were struggling to find a way since we don’t have a centralized PC for this and are just trying to recall the HTML file directly from the PLC.

As a Wago commercial solution you have the PLCvisu:

> **[Visualize Without Limits ](https://www.wago.com/global/products/automation-technology/discover-software/plc-visualization)**
>
> WAGO PLC Visualization enhances automation with greater transparency and efficiency. This visualization solution runs directly on your PLC or HMI, offering a browser-based interface that is exceptionally user-friendly and reliable.

And as non Wago system I think what you are looking for is a websocket system for data exchange with the plc and a small visu.
I know this is technically possible because the Lighting management system use this technology for cross talk and talking with the php based visu.

Okay, awesome. Thanks for this information. I’ll take a look at both options
