I wasn’t sure exactly where to post this—under “hardware” or “codesys.” I chose Codesys.
I have a PLC 750-8208 with firmware version 19, an older but functional version.
I purchased a license and installed “Codesys Control for PFC200 SL” 4.21.0.0
I want to use the CAN and PROFIBUS interfaces. I’m currently working in the Codesys 3.5 SP21P5 environment; I only have access to the COM port. I’ve tried transferring data, and it works.
Question: Can CAN or PROFIBUS be used? Is there perhaps another way to use them? Not just through Codesys? I’d appreciate any advice.
