Hej,
I am trying to figure out how to built a standard block in Codesys (new to this) and Wago’s documentation isn’t the best. I have a list of channels and want to use the same FB for all channel configurations. The then configured raw value is to go to aChVal (part of DWORD structure) and the status of the channel (underflow/overflow etc) is to go to bChVal.

How do I get the status bit using this setup? Thank you in advance.

Good afternoon, I’m not sure what the problem is.
Judging by your question, your problem isn’t with the PLC but with your knowledge of Codesys.
I would recommend that you use the ST language; it’s easier to use. Please tell us what you want, starting with the PLC model and firmware version. I can help you.

Not sure what you are trying to do Valiant, but you can access the Status bits directly from the IO Mapping:

 ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex016/uploads/wago/original/2X/3/329516e4f1f3a2b25637a8a4b141f66cec0b92c1.png)

Enter a variable name in the Status byte field and then access the individual bits directly. Ex: myStatusVar1.0, myStatusVar1.1, myStatusVar1.2, etc.

The status byte mapping for the 564 is:
