# Wago Smi configurator cannot run system extension

We are using Wago SMI configurator to address the blind motors. But the following error appears when I try to run the system extensions command. The command addresses devices that don’t yet have addresses. The error message is “System extension could not be executed due to missing conflicts”, which does not make sense to me.

I have tried addressing all of the devices with the addressing tool that overrides all addresses but no new devices were found.

Hi Andrei,

I think the message is just misleading. It means that there are no conflicts to resolve in SMI bus (no devices removed or added to bus).
