Hello,
I had a broadcast storm on my network ring PLC.
In a normal situation, i had a Wago switch with jet ring function but an electrician did a wrong maneuver…
I had to power off all my PLC and restart to return in a normal situation.
Is it possible to avoid powering off my PLCs to return to a normal situation at the end of a broadcast storm?
Thanks
Did you try broadcast protection function in firewall settings in WBM? Or is it important for you to restart PLC?

Hello,
I didn’t found a broadcast protection function on the firewall page from WBM of 750-8210 (FW29). I don’t want to restart or Power off my PLCs :). This is the only solution i found to solve the problem after the end of a broadcast storm.
Hello, depending on the Firmware it may have changed place, here is for the FW28 on a PFC300:
Hello,
On PFC200, FW28, i do not have this function
Unfortunately, 4 Ethernet ports version of PFC200 (750-8210, 750-8211, 750-8215) use a different component for Ethernet interface and doesn’t support this function.
