752-8303 "dio configuration wrong" Error

When I set “Always Update Variables” to Enabled (1 or 2), download and attempt to run, I get the following error: “DIO configuration wrong”.

I’m not using the built-in DIO, but after this error I applied SA power to the block anyway. That did not resolve the issue, and it occurs even with an empty program.

How do I resolve this?

What device are you using?

The “Always Update” is for the DIO and if you are not using the DIO, the system may be getting confused. Try adding some dummy tags to the DIO IO mapping.
