I was able to get used Wago Pfc200 8206. I did never have any contact with Wago. Should i start with that, if yes, where to get codesys 2.3 or should i get a newer model?
I know my question is not professional but i couldnt get any answers from other topics.
For any new project, it’s recommended to use a controller that supports CODESYS V3.5, since this is the platform WAGO currently develops and maintains. The 750‑8206 you have is a PFC200 G1, which is only programmable via WAGO‑I/O‑PRO V2.3 (CODESYS 2.3) or e!COCKPIT — both of which are now discontinued.
The replacement is the PFC200 G2, for example the 750‑8216, which is programmed with CODESYS V3.5. Depending on your I/O and performance requirements, WAGO has a few controller families that support CODESYS V3.5:
Hello Pirc, you say PFC200 G2 but the reference is a G1.
For the G1 (Reference 750-820x) you need to use Codesys 2.3
It used to be a paid software but it has been discontinued.
I would recommend if you have a G1 to contact your country WAGO technical support and see with them.
If you have a G2 (Reference 750-821x) you just need to do what Mike have explained.
