Connect Control Panel with KBus

Hi,

is it possible to connect Control Panel 762-5303 directly to the KBus and the I/O cards, or do you have to take the detour via, for example, Modbus?

There is no direct K-Bus interface on this device.

You would need atleast a Coupler like 750-362 to interface with this HMI device,

You will need to use a fieldbus protocol to communicate between the WAGO K-Bus I/O system (750 Series I/O) and the TP600.

The 762-5303 is a Control Panel, which combines both PLC and HMI functionality. If additional remote I/O is required, you can use a fieldbus coupler.

The best coupler will depend on your application requirements, but I would recommend considering: 750-362 for Modbus TCP, or 750-354 for EtherCAT. Here are tutorials for both : WAGO Download Center
