Hello, so i only know those examples from Codesys:
And those one from an GIThub source:
yes that’s right oop-concept codesys V3 github provides programs you can dowload, to be familiar with oop concepts , but the FB ‘s are missing !
have you got any other suggestion ?
Thank you very much.
all the syntax is difficult to understand for me. (I’m a PLC prorammer , not a computer programmer).
Which solution do you suggest to understand that ? (Codesys book V2, or a course ?)
Hi there, I teach the codesys advanced class at our Wago HQ and I specifically cover OOP in the class. If you are interested in attending the class, you can reach out to training.us@wago.com. You can also give us an email at automationsupport.us@wago.com and I’d be happy to send you training materials that I have for OOP!
Hello Sean,
Here is my email adress if you want to send me any oop documents , or example you have in your codesys course:
contact@art-gtc.com and my website is art-gtc.com
Here are some approaches which are really useful for a plc programmer.
IEC 61131-3 – Stefan Henneken (Examples based on TwinCAT, but syntax is the same)
The first time I hear about a similar course and some materials. Maybe you will do it publicly for us all and any participant could get acquainted? I would love to look at available materials.
I agree! We’re probably going to close the OOP class soon in favor of some other topics, as soon as it’s confirmed I was planning on making a training video covering the material or a recording of the class. I would estimate that a video could be publicly available around Q3 of 2026. But I only teach it in person for now.
