Tell me, has anyone tried OPC UA Client on wago controllers?
I want to buy a license and try to install on the device. Will the license work?

OPC UA Client SL is already included in the latest standard version of WAGO Firmware. So you can use it directly.
The current version is the Fw26

  1. via DatasourceManager
  2. client API (I haven’t tested it yet) → CODESYS OPC UA Client API

Do I understand correctly that now you can use OPC UA Server and OPC UA Client at the same time?
OPC UA Client are free?
