I bought a CONTROL BASIC license and activated in on my EdgeComputer before checking the license requirements.
I’ve now also bought and activated a CONTROL Standard license on my EdgeComputer, but when downloading a project to the controller the LicenseServer choose the Basic license over the Standard license, preventing the project to start due to wrong license.
How can I remove/ retrieve the Basic license?
In codesys can you use the license manager to manage the license of the PLC and remove what is not needed anymore ?
I cannot find the option to Remove license from “License manager” in Codesys.
In the "Codesys” forum, someone mentioned that I have to order a ticket from the Codesys Store and install it as if I bought a new license, just received a reply that they need the license key for the one in question, so I’ll just have to see what happens next.
Ended up creating a support case at CODESYS Store => Got a ticket to remove the license.
For some reason, I also had to create a new Codesys project and copy the content from the old one to be able to download and start the project. The logs kept warning me about having the wrong license due to Wago library in project.

I had done all but install the library in Codesys. Did that and got to download and start the application!
