SD card problem during firmware update

Hello,

I’m encountering an issue while attempting to update the firmware remotely on my Wago PFC 200 via WAGOupload. The SD card becomes locked in read-only file system mode after the update process.

I’ve followed these steps precisely:

  1. Take the case of a Wago PFC 200 with Firmware 18 (No problems on the SD card).
  2. Stop the application running on the Wago via E-Cockpit.
  3. Launch WAGOupload 1.17.10.
  4. Scan with the Wago’s IP address and connect as root.
  5. Specify the path to firmware 26.
  6. Update is complete without any error messages.
  7. SD card is now locked in read-only file system mode.

The update appears to be successful until the SD card locks itself into read-only mode. This prevents further operations and hinders the functionality of the device.

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? Any insights or suggestions on resolving this problem would be greatly appreciated.

SD Card : SD WAGO 8 Go
Firmware 18 to Firmware 26
WAGOupload V 1.17.1.0

Hello,

When the protection switch is activated on the SD card, this is not taken into account by firmware version 18. However, it is taken into account by higher firmware versions.
