Running e!cockpit 1.11.02
Creating a new project with whatever controller, or creating an empty project and trying to add a new controller, i get this message
Also, trying to update to 1.11.1.2 I get this prompt
However, there is no pending restart. Restarting the system does no difference.
I ended up doing a clean install.

Hello. I had the same problem when I tried to upgrade eCockpit. And I “solved” the problem in the same way as you did - complete uninstall old version and install the new one. Also It took 3 hours to install the new version on my laptop. But the same installation on the PC with the lower HW parameters lasts only 1 hour. But on both PCs everything works fine .

I had same issue with installation. I sent log file to support and they find out one register what was issue for update. Some kind of “Wave”(Win own sound program) was holding register up and didn’t let update. After deleting folders and register all updates was done and i don’t see problems in work any more. Those sound effects are removed but speakers work fine.
