Need to Measure Frequency Through the Normal DI Cards (750-1405,750-430)

Greetings of the Day.

Want to measure RPM (Max.3000 RPM) with Normal DI Cards.

Can we measure through PFC200 or CC100??

& Maximum How much frequency can we measure with DI card.??

Depends on type of input card and program scan rate.

Personally i would recommend using the Frequency measurement card. because it will work and won’t depend on the application call time.

I recommend 750-404/000-003 which can measure up to 100 kHz.

Digital Input modules on the KBUS are only scanned every few milliseconds depending on your KBUS task rate. Assuming your using 5ms scan rate, the fastest frequency you could measure would be ~100 Hz (because you need two reads per cycle).
