Hello,
I have to use 750-626 power card to power the cards DI/DO/AI/AO located after it. my DI/DO/AI/AO card . I’m not that i’m compliant with Loyds certification.
Currently, I only wire inputs 2 and 3.
But what is the use of terminals 1 and 5, for example?
The card documentation does not show any use cases for them for “good practice”
Hello damenexail,
This module is used to filter the 24V power supply and protect against overvoltage.
You need to connect your power supply to terminals 4 and 8. Then, connect terminals 1 and 5 to the power supply input terminals of your controller. Your 24V supply of your controller will then be filtered and protected.
To supply your modules, you also need to connect 24V to terminals 2 and 3 of the 750-626.
Best regards,
Paul
If I understand correctly, the purpose of the 626 output terminals is to protect the CPU power supply.
You don’t need to supply the terminals 2 and 3 on the controller if the 750-626 module is next to the controller.
Hello Paul, thanks for your support.
