In a application where no CODESYS nor e!COCKPIT runtime is used but a cross-compiled C/C++ instead, I’d like to know if there is still a way to configure the k-bus module.
It looks when the runtime isn’t running there is no way to use I/O Check.

Correct, seems like the iocheck-daemon /usr/bin/iocheckd is not starting without it. Maybe this reads the modules list from the codesys instance (?). As we know only one app can connect to the application device interface at a time. If codesys does not the C/C++ app can do it.
